Punch Punch also known as Chick, and Pulcinella, is the Neapolitan stock character par excellence. Known for his big nose and clucking voice, this shocking loafer, charlatan, and acrobat appears in many commedia dell’arte plots. This character charmed the artist Giandomenico Tiepolo so much that he depicted Punch many times in a variety of situations. Today these frescoes can be admired in Venice at Ca’Rezzonico, the museum of seventeenth century Venice. Our Punch marionette stands approximately 21" (53cm) tall.
